Sorry to all for the lapse in posting, things have been rather hectic around the Fletcher house hold. Over the past few weeks we have been have been dealing with a few issues that all new parents surely contend with and perhaps a few unique to us. Amelia is in fine form, chugging her way up to the 7 pound 8 oz mark and almost ready for her cloth diapers (which I am dreading, damn the environment). Chelle's in good health although our little milk fiend's growth spurts are wreaking havoc in the breast region. One little medical scare this week. Chelle noticed something scary when changing Amelia. Under the skin around her breasts was inflamed and swollen, almost like a cyst. After a trip to the Doctor and then the IWK for an ultrasound (as well as some furious Internet browsing) we discovered that it's a fairly common reaction to the hormones in breast milk. Crisis averted.

| Uncle Jerome and Cousin Matina in town for the first viewing. |
In a rare lapse of strict parental guidance Aunt Tara allowed her daughter, Amelia`s cousin Matina, to visit while her father was in Halifax for some business. Matina was a great help (contrary to the picture Jerome was of little help), giving Rochelle and I some time to much needed rest and even took the dog for a walk. In addition to being so helpful she also had some sagely words of advice.
Click Here to a video of her suggestion.

| Dressed for the first day in the office. |
Chelle had some loose ends to tie up at work and and took Amelia in for her first exposure to office life. Her mother thought it would be a good idea to dress her for the occasion...then take pictures. I can`t tell if she`s crying because of the potential future of life in an office or just because her feet are so big. I may regret posting this later.

| As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye
may grow thereby: If so be you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. And god bless us everyone! |
Styling potential Halloween costume. We were going to go with the Pope but couldn't`t afford to modify the stroller to match the pope-mobile, not to mention the possible religious backlash. Instead we`re looking at Winston Churchill - the later years. Either way the costumes are relatively the same.
I call this one `Baby and The Bare Skin`....very clever.
