Hey all! Sorry for the delay in posting but I had a run in with google, a conglomeration of Internet pirates, set on taking my pictorial treasure and hard earned cash. Two weeks ago I was in the midst of posting some lovely pictures of Amelia when Google interrupted me with a flashing text placed in a very ominous window.

That's it buddy, no more picture posting for you.
I felt like a crack addict getting to try the drug for the first time, then having to pay for the next round.
Any way, google got my $2.94 per month for the next...well forever.
OK, I know it's their multi-million dollar web site, their programing that makes it easy to point and click to make all this work, and their templates I'm using, but nobody told me there were going to be limitations on the usage. So now I'm eternally indebted to Google for as long as I would like our little family information to be spread to our far living relatives. That`s $35.28 a year, or $564.98 until Amelia turns 16, gets embarrassed for all of her personal information being on the Internet, threatens to move out with her dead beat friends and shouts ``You never understand me!!! I hate you!!``, and then stomps out the door in whatever attire is considered inappropriate for that era.
Amelia if your reading this now and it`s 2028, please come home, your mother is really worried.
Thanks Google.
Any way, here's whats been happening. Over the last little while AMF has had numerous visitors and we have managed to collect most of the them on our digital image capturing device (some willingly, some by outright sneakiness).
Aunt Donna and Uncle Randy dropped out to the house for a visit and my poor excuse for pasta, and played with AMF. Our little darl'en was in awe of Randy's playing (and Movember stash) and watched him closely.
Our picture of Donna that night didn't turn out but fortunately we have a spare. Amelia is sporting her Pooh Bear outfit.
Ms. Jones stopped by for a cuddle and to explain her next jet set hiking expedition, but refused to have her picture taken due to royalties regulations and copy right issues (actually the batteries were dead in the camera.)
We also had a visit from Rochelles Aunt Jessie but I had left the cameras at work, but it was a great visit none the less.
Next to visit were Rochelle's parents. They stayed for a weekend and let us shoot out for a movie while they watched AMF. We saw Cloud Atlas staring Tom Hanks and Hally Berry, a science fiction/reincarnation/drama flick which is three hours long. It's a bit of a thinker. We should have seen something that "makes brain turn off", but it was awesome for Mary and Pascal to give the time for a date. I have to admit that even though we knew that AMF was in the very safest of hands we still felt a little guilty and apprehensive about the distance.
Mary made us her awarding winning breakfast pie (I'm not just being nice, it really won a contest -Grand Prize Winner - 2008 Saltscapes Comfort Food Recipe Contest), and we ate it like it was the last one on earth. Note: the stupid look on my face is from complete gestational joy.
Mary, Pascal and the Monster.
Not to be left out, our more furry daughter Abby.
And then Chris....
And then Chris and Jennifer together....
The other night I cam home from work and Rochelle handed me AMF and got into the hot tub. I sat down stairs for a while and as per normal, she got fussy without the near proximity of food. When this happens I go into calming mode. Calming mode takes a few different mediums, sometimes bouncing her in my arms for a while, sometimes music, distraction with toys (well... shiny objects this early in the game) or even the odd airplane ride. One thing I have noticed is that AMF is more aware of her surroundings and genuinely needs and likes to be entertained. So this evening I took her upstairs and played our favourite Christmas songs for her. About half way through the disc Chelle came in and caught the event on video. While it's cheesy and hokey, it may turn out be one of my favourite videos. If you click here, you can watch me in calming mode. At 19 seconds in the video watch AMF's hands, it's like she can follow the music.
Our final visitor could only stay for a bit, just enough for some cookies and milk then had to rush of to work.

Eric and Jamie were next to visit. Eric showed off his natural parenting skills and put AMF directly to sleep, and she stayed that way for most of the visit.
Later that day came Jennifer...
And then Chris....
And then Chris and Jennifer together....
And then Rochenda.... and then everybody sang!

| So unimpressed. |
I would also like to congratulate my brother Joel and his wife Nat on the two bundles of joy that they have brought home. Yay!!! If I'm only half as happy as them, they must be in heaven. More to follow on the nephews, Ryan and Mason.
