Three months ago, I posted a top 10 list of things we knew about Amelia at 3 months (http://fletcherfenestella.blogspot.ca/2012_12_01_archive.html). This is an update on that list. Time is flying and we are seeing changes daily BUT some things still stay the same. Let's see!
The 10 things about Amelia from 3 months with an update at 6 months:
1. Amelia loves her bath time - This is not her very favorite part of the day anymore. Maybe because she knows her bedtime routine. She knows what's coming next!
2. Amelia is all about the food (just like her Papa) - This could never be more true! We are still introducing solids at supper time. Her favorite so far is melon. She particularly likes it mixed with pears or bananas. She loves eating out of the mesh feeder by herself or Adam will let her gnaw on the spoon every few bites!
3. Amelia loves to have her hair styled - What hair? We are still waiting for it to grow!
4. Amelia has a stretching routine first thing in the am - and after every nap! Still the cutest thing I think she does! It kills me that she has done this since in utero! Adam says she particularly likes it when you scratch her belly when she is stretching. True but does she get that from Adam, myself or is she really taking after Abby?
5. Amelia is already Papa's girl - I think this is mostly because he lets her do things her mom won't let her do... yes already! lol
6. Amelia does not like to be moved while sleeping - We don't move her much when she is sleeping now. She has a fairly set schedule of naps and bedtime. ah nap time!!!
7. Amelia is a happy baby - We can't be thankful enough for this! Happy all the time!
8. Amelia is a music lover - Amelia has a few favorites right now. When driving, we listen to Celtic lullabies CD from Nana and Didi (and I wonder why she falls asleep in the car all the time!). During the day (when Adam is not around), we listen to Sandy Offenheim which I always listened to growing up. At bedtime or nap time, we listen to the full production of Les Miserables...guaranteed for a deep sleep with that one!
Adam plays guitar to her almost every night and she plays along with her highchair table top...I mean drums. Too cute!
Amelia just finished up her first music class. Although she was the youngest of the group by a few months, she was clearly just as eager to join in. Her favorite part was the opening song where everyone gets a turn to have a verse sung to them. She loved being the center of attention! She also loved the song where they bring the parachute out and all the moms and kiddies wave it up and down.
9. Amelia is a little socialite - Well her social calendar is busier than mine has EVER been! We have something almost every day of the week. Being an introvert, I sometimes can't keep up with her!
10. Amelia likes to be entertained - She needs us less and less for entertainment. We are more there as an audience or as her spotter (ie: clap and oooh on command or lunge to catch her as she topples). Since she hasn't had any major spills yet, her appreciation for our Olympic worthy saves are lost on her. I think she takes us for granted! lol

| AMF will wait for someone to come find her when she wakes up from naps. She keeps the blanket over her head but her eyes are wide open and she has a huge smile on her face. It creeps me out. every. single. time! |

| Amelia is not only learning to sit up but she is learning to speak as well. I am afraid the word she is saying here closely resembles barking. Thanks Abby! |
