This past weekend, Adam celebrated turning the big... I guess I shouldn't... let's just say he continues to be older than me. This weekend was pretty low key seeing as we have a little one now. No surprise birthday bash. No cases of beer chilling in the fridge. No "all nighter" to ring in the next year for Adam. Wait... is this what people do when they grow up?
In all seriousness, we celebrated Adam's birthday by heading out to the movie theatre for a date matinee. It is the first time we have gone out together just the two of us in about 6 months so it was really nice. Amelia went to visit her "manny" for the first time. It was a little harrowing for him at first as Amelia quickly learned she had been duped and left behind by her parents. Once he figured out how much she likes music and dancing, they were fine. The two became BFF's over a little Cindy Lauper and Fleetwood Mac.
