Beets

So I went to a Baby Led Weaning Workshop this morning. The idea is that your baby feeds themselves rather than using purees. When children feed themselves using their hands, they are supposed to enjoy food more and will have less of a tendency to over eat. The leader explained most children can't feed themselves with a spoon until at least a year. A year??? To which I said, "My child is doing just fine feeding herself with a spoon". She loves her pureed beets. Check it out!
