Nana & Didi come to babysit

Like all new parents, we were in need of a little adult time. Being far away from family makes it a little difficult to get out of the house sometimes. At least impromptu visits sans bebe can be a little challenging. Last weekend, however, was planned well in advance. Our dear friend Donna was celebrating a milestone birthday and an enormous party has been in the works for a very long time. We have been looking forward to this night since...well...2012 at least!

Nana and Didi agreed to make the 5 hour drive just to give us a break. I think they drove all this way just to spend some quality alone time with Amelia. Either way, we were all happy. Amelia was pleased to have a new audience who were eager to listen to all her new sounds and watch all her new tricks. Adam and I were pleased to dress up and hit the town!
